HOUSTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 12th March, 2019) Despite the fact that sanctions have a negative impact on Russia's LUKoil company, the restrictions are not insurmountable, LUKoil CEO Vagit Alekperov said on Monday.
"[Sanctions] have an adverse effect [on the company], but at the same time they do not represent insurmountable restrictions," Alekperov said at CERAWeek conference in Houston, Texas.
He added that the company hoped to mitigate the sanctions' adverse impact by import substitution, purchasing the needed equipment in Russia.
