Sukkur (Pakistan Point News – 10th March, 2019) Former opposition leader in the National Assembly and Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Syed Khurshid Shah has said that if something happens to Nawaz Sharif, it would be considered a murder.
He said that the government would be responsible if something happens to former prime minister Nawaz Sharif.
Talking to media in Sukkur, the PPP leader said that Nawaz Sharif is not well. “Everyone should pray for his health. Lahore’s Services and Jinnah Hospital do not have a cardiac ward,” he said.
Khurshid Shah said that the prime minister belongs to all of the country, not just one party. Imran Khan does not consider himself a prime minister yet as he still resorts to ‘container politics’.
Imran Khan’s politics is that of abusive language and container slogans, he said.
The PPP leader further said that Punjab Interior Department has allowed Bilawal Bhutto to meet Nawaz Sharif.
He said that our politics is beyond personal attacks. “We don’t use abusive language. We have seen many ups and downs. We talk about people instead of power,” the former opposition leader said.
Regarding Imran Khan’s criticism of Bilawal Bhutto’s speech in English, Khurshid Shah said that Quaid-e-Azam also used to deliver a speech in English and people used to understand his every word.
