ANKARA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 07th March, 2019) Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan reaffirmed on Thursday that the deal with Russia on deliveries of S-400 air defense systems was completed, and said a new deal on purchases of advanced Russian-made S-500 systems could be possible in future.

"The deal on S-400 is finalized. Everything has been negotiated and agreed upon, from credit conditions to joint production, signatures have been put, there is no way back. otherwise, it would be immoral," Erdogan said in an interview with 24 tv television.

"We have agreed on S-400 and, possibly, we will conclude a deal on S-500, as well. I hope in July we will receive the first batch of S-400 systems," the president added.
