ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News - 06th March, 2019) MNAs from different opposition parties have first time in the history offered a prayer inside the National Assembly of Pakistan. MMA leader and son of JUI-F President Maulana Fazlur Rahman, Maulana Asad Mehmood led the Maghrab prayer in front of the NA speaker dice. PML-N MNA Ahsan Iqbal and many other legislators also offered prayer led by Asad. Earlier, the opposition members were protesting against Water Minister Faisal Vawda remarks, demanding a resolution against the PTI leader. However, they tore the copies of the agenda when NA Speaker Asad Qaiser refused to allow them to bring the resolution. Meanwhile, on the call of the prayer, they did not go to mosque inside assembly secretariat but chose the same spot for prayer.
