KARACHI (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 05th March, 2019) The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has warned the Sindh Minister for Literacy and Education that the JI will not allow anyone to induct music and dance as a subject in the educational curriculum of government schools of the province. In a statement issued here yesterday, Hafiz Naeem has expressed his deep concern over the announcement of induction of music and dance as a subject in the syllabus of government schools.

Referring the speech of Sindh Minister for Literacy Sardar Shah in Arts Council in which he made the announcement, Hafiz Naeem said that the JI will not allow anyone to bring the drastic changes in the educational syllabus of government schools; adding that the Islamic teachings and culture do not allow such ridiculous changes in the educational curriculum."The provincial government through this move is making an attempt to divert the brains of innocent children from our Islamic teachings and culture; adding that the JI will thwart all such conspiracies which are being hatched to destroy the educational and cultural systems of the province", Hafiz Naeem added.

He further advised the Sindh Minister for Education that instead of induction music and dance classes in the educational syllabus; he should pay attention over the dismal education system and condition of government schools in the province.Hafiz Naeem further said that the government schools in the province; particularly in Interior Sindh had been converted into the "private-sittings" of feudal lords; however, the Sindh Government had not paid any heed towards the deteriorated condition of schools in the province.

The JI Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem said that the Sindh Province is known as "the gate-way of Islam", where the islam was being spread by Muhammad Bin Qasim in the entire province; adding that the Sindh has its exclusive islamic and cultural values; which should not been changed at any cost.Hafiz Naeem said that the masses of the province have rejected the said attempt of Sindh Government; adding that the JI will also bring the said issue on the floor of Sindh Assembly in order to reflect the sentiments and feelings of the common men.
