Pak Navy detects Indian submarine, stops it from entering Pakistani waters

This was the second time after November, 2016 an Indian submarine was identified and stopped by Pakistan Navy.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th March, 2019) The Pakistan Navy on Tuesday detected an Indian submarine trying to enter Pakistani waters.

"The Pakistan Navy used its specialised skills to ward off the submarine, successfully keeping it from entering Pakistani waters," a statement from the spokesperson said.

This was the second time after November, 2016 an Indian submarine was identified and stopped by Pakistan Navy.

The Pakistan Navy foiled Indian attempt to keep the submarine secret. India had to face a defeat on the oceanic fronts as well.

The Pakistan Navy termed it a failure of Indian Navy that Pakistan detected its submarine loaded with modern technology.

The spokesperson said that this a proof of the high capabilities of Pakistan Navy.

The Indian submarine was not targeted keeping in view the government’s policy to maintain peace with the neighbour. This represents Pakistan’s peace efforts, the spokesperson added.

The spokesperson added that Pakistan Navy is capable of responding to any Indian aggression.

Tensions heightened between India and Pakistan and took a military turn after India intruded intro Pakistan's territory on February 26, leaving no other option for Pakistan but to retaliate.

Pakistan retaliated on February 27 with full force as Pakistan Air Force (PAF) shot down two Indian aircrafts as they crossed the Line of Control (LoC) besides arresting an Indian pilot.
