Timing of Abhinandan’s return decided upon India’s request, Pakistan rebuffs propaganda

The Indian media has been engaged in propaganda over the timing of their captured pilot Abhinandan’s return to India.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 2nd March, 2019) The Indian media can stop its propaganda over timing of Abhinandan’s return as the captured pilot crossed Wagah border at the time requested by Indian authorities.

The Indian media reported that Abhinandan had to at 10pm on Friday which was later changed to afternoon.

The Indian media had started propaganda over the timings, making it a new issue. It said that Prime Minister Imran Khan had changed the time on purpose so that more and more Indians could gather at Wagah Border and appreciate his peace gesture.

However, Pakistan has brushed aside all such reports. Abhinandan was returned to India at the time decided by the Indian authorities.

The Pakistani authorities had given the time of 8-9pm for his return upon the request of India.

But Indian media had viewed it differently and continued to spread disinformation over it.

Pakistan released Indian fighter pilot Wing Commander Abhinandan and handed him over to Indian authorities at Wagha Border on Friday evening.

Amid tight security, the Indian pilot was transported to Wahga Border after his traveling documents were inalized by Pakistani officials.

His release was announced by Prime Minister Imran Khan as a peace gesture during a speech in Joint Session of the Parliament yesterday.

Wing Commander Abhinandan was arrested on Wednesday when his aircraft was shot down by Pakistan Air Force after violation of Pakistan air-space.

Pakistan's decision of releasing India's captive pilot Wing Commander, Abhinandan has been widely acknowledged and lauded in India.
