ABU DHABI, (Pakistan Point News - 28th Feb, 2019) The Ministry of Interior, MoI, participated, through a delegation headed by Major General Jassem Mohammed Al Marzouqi, General Commander of Civil Defence, in the '2nd Fire Operations Conference', which was organised by the Ministry of Interior of Bahrain, in cooperation with the Saudi company, Aramco, and the International Association of Fire Chiefs, IAFC.
Leaders of civil defence and fire services from Gulf Cooperation Council, GCC, countries and other countries, such as the United States, US, also participated in the conference.
Major General Al Marzouqi highlighted the UAE’s keenness to participate in all conferences and meetings organised by GCC countries, with the aim of affirming their deep relations, strengthening their overall cooperation, and creating joint strategic partnerships, to achieve security, safety, prosperity and stability for their peoples.
Al Marzouqi said that the participation of the General Command of Civil Defence in the conference as a strategic partner embodies the deep cooperation and partnership between the civil defence of the UAE and Bahrain and other civil defence authorities, to adopt the latest international practices and create a safe and stable environment free from accidents, which will preserve the achievements of Gulf communities and their positive impact on their peoples, paving the way for more overall accomplishments.
