MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th February, 2019) Gas transit through Ukraine is the most expensive for Russia as of today, with the tariff being 100-150 percent higher than on other routes, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said Tuesday in an interview with Gazeta.ru."If we talk about existing routes that are currently used for the transit of Russian gas, the Ukrainian direction is now the most expensive, and the highest tariff is set there - it is 2-2.5 times higher than [on] other routes," Novak said.
