ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 26th February, 2019) The Gas Utility Court in Hyderabad has served a three-year prison term on accused Bashir Chandio who was arrested some time back on charges of committing gas theft crime, under Gas Theft Control and Recovery Act 2016.The latest arrest is a major prosecution success of SSGC's Security Services and Counter Gas Theft and Operations (SS and CGTO) Department. Muhammad Asif, Deputy Manager Prosecution Wing contested the case before the Court.

Earlier, a bail application of one Imran Ali, a resident of Dera Allayar in district Jafferabad in Balochistan, was rejected after vehement arguments of Abdul Mannan Kakar, DM, Prosecution Wing, SS &CGTO. Also in Khairpur, bail applications of accused Zohaib Ahmed and Waqar Ahmed, residents of District Khairpur, were rejected after vehement arguments of Muneer Ahmed Metlo, DM, Prosecution Wing, SS&CGTO, Sukkur.
