Hafiz Naeem demands impartial inquiry into Nimra Baig's murder

The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded of the authorities concerned to conduct inquiry from all aspects into the death case of Nimra Baig

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 25th February, 2019) The Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Karachi Chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman has demanded of the authorities concerned to conduct inquiry from all aspects into the death case of Nimra Baig--a medical student who was killed during an alleged encounter between the police party and criminal elements, few days ago in North Karachi Area.He was expressed these views while visiting the residence of deceased Nimra Baig situated at Sector D-7 in North Karachi.

During the visit, Hafiz Naeem was condoled over the death of Nimra Baig while meeting with her maternal uncle Zaki Baig.On the occasion, the JI District Central Ameer Munim Zafar and others were also accompanied the JI Karachi Chief.Talking to media, Hafiz Naeem said that the unprofessional behaviour of police force in Karachi is multiplied the woes of the masses; adding that the local youth of city should be recruited in police department, so that such types of incidents should be prevailed.

Hafiz Naeem further demanded that the responsible involved into the killing case of Nimra Baig should be brought in the court of law and exemplary punishment should be given to the culprits.He further said that the dacoities, street crimes and other illegal activities are being on the rise in areas of North Karachi, New Karachi and adjacent areas; adding that the killing incidents of innocent people during the police encounters are also being increased in Karachi, nowadays.

The rise in those cases is an open evidence that the police force needs proper training; adding that there is an absence of professional training in police department, which is a root cause of such unfortunate incidents", Hafiz Naeem added.He further said that the Sindh Government is adopting a policy of nepotism in the recruitment process of jobs thought Sindh Public Service Commission (SPSC); adding that the influential politicians are giving government jobs to their relatives, which certainly raises questions over the performance of Sindh Government's departments.On the occasion, the maternal uncle of deceased Nimra Baig paid special thanks to the JI delegation and said that the lawlessness in the metropolis are engulfed the lives of innocent people.
