The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, yesterday launched its second phase of food aid dedicated to residents of desert areas in the Hatib district in the Shabwa governorate, in a continuation to the UAE's humanitarian aid provided to the brotherly people of Yemen
SHABWA, (Pakistan Point News - 21st Feb, 2019) The Emirates Red Crescent, ERC, yesterday launched its second phase of food aid dedicated to residents of desert areas in the Hatib district in the Shabwa governorate, in a continuation to the UAE's humanitarian aid provided to the brotherly people of Yemen.
In this regard, the ERC distributed food baskets to needy and low-income families in those targeted areas, benefiting 2,320 individuals.
The people of Hatib expressed their thanks and appreciation to the UAE leadership and people for this great help and this kind humanitarian gesture.
