MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th February, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin said Wednesday that there is a theoretical threat of Russia being disconnected from the internet, and urged the creation of independent segments."I cannot guess what our partners have in mind. I think it will cause them enormous harm, damage," Putin said at a meeting with representatives of Russian news agencies and print media.
"I believe that they will think 100 times before doing this, but theoretically everything is possible, therefore, we should create [Internet] segments that do not depend on anyone," he stressed.
