General Hamad Mohammed Thani Al Rumaithi, Chief of Staff of the UAE Armed Forces, today received a number of high profile defence officials, where they explored ways of fostering ties between the UAE and the guest countries, especially those related to military and defence affairs, and means of enhancing them to serve their common interest.
Lt.Gen. Al Rumaithi received Lt. General Mohamed Cheikh Mohamed Lemine; Army Chief-of-Staff of Mauritania; Lt. General Yakubu Hassan Mohamed, Chief-of-Staff of the Tanzania People's Defence Forces; Lt. General Dato’ Suhaimi bin Hj Mohd, Malaysia's Joint Force Commander; and Vice Admiral Alexandru Mirsu, Chief of the Romanian Naval Forces, separately, on the sidelines of International Defence Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2019.
They also exchanged views on the importance of organising such specialised defence exhibitions worldwide, particularly the IDEX.
