MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th February, 2019) Russian President Vladimir Putin thanked FIFA President Gianni Infantino for his assistance in preparing and holding the FIFA World Cup last year and said Infantino was awarded the Order of Friendship."We are now actively dealing with the legacy of the World Cup, I would like to thank you once again for the help you provided in preparing and holding the World Cup. As a sign of gratitude for this joint work, you know, I signed a decree awarding you Russia's Order of Friendship," Putin at a meeting with Infantino.
