FUJAIRAH, (Pakistan Point News - 20th Feb, 2019) The UAE will be the guest of honour of the fifth "National Festival of Innovative Youth," which begins tomorrow in Meknes, Morocco.
The three-day event is organised by the Moroccan Art and Innovation Forum, in cooperation with Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organisation, ALECSO.
The festival aims to celebrate human innovation, reinforce cultural exchange and dialogue, and promote compassion and tolerance.
The UAE delegation, which will be led by the poet, Khaled Al Dhanhani, Chairman of the Fujairah Social and Cultural Association, will include poet Dr. Talal Al Junaibi and heritage scholar Ali Awadh Al Manhali.
Al Dhanhani stated that the association’s participation in the event is in line with the 'Year of Tolerance'. During the event, the delegation will also showcase a documentary that will highlight the UAE’s overall achievements, as well as conduct poetry readings, heritage shows, Emirati fashion shows, a theatrical art workshop, and the signing of several Emirati books for the public, he added.
He also highlighted the keenness of the association, through its global initiative, titled, 'Zayed Ambassadors' initiative to participate in Arab and International cultural events, to highlight the UAE’s culture, and promote tolerance, dialogue and acceptance, as well as strengthen the country’s position as a global capital of tolerance.
