Saudi crown prince to build hospital in KP after Farman Khan

Farman Khan gave up his life while rescuing 14 people in the floods that had hit Jeddah in 2009.  

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 18th February, 2019) Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman has announced to build a hospital in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).

According to media reports, the Saudi crown prince has announced making a hospital in KP to be named after Farman Khan.

Farman Khan gave up his life while rescuing 14 people in the floods that had hit Jeddah in 2009.

The hospital will benefit thousands of Pakistanis.

Meanwhile, as Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman is in Pakistan on two-day visit, he has ordered the release of Pakistani prisoners in Saudi jails.

Federal Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry said in a tweet that the Saudi crown prince while acknowledging the request of Prime Minister Imran Khan has ordered the immediate release of 2107 Pakistani prisoners Saudi Jails.

Moreover, he accepted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s request to provide immigration to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Pakistan.

Prime Minister Imran Khan had requested Mohammed bin Salman to provide travel and residence facilities to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

Approving the request, the Saudi crown prince announced that Pakistan Hajj pilgrims will have their immigration for Saudia Arabia done in Pakistan.

No immigration will be required for Pakistani Hajj pilgrims upon arrival at Saudi Arabia. At least 29,000 Hajj pilgrims will have their immigration for Saudi Arabia done at Karachi airport this year.

Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Pakistan on Sunday for a two-day visit.

The Saudi Crown Prince was accorded rousing and warm welcome on his arrival in Pakistan. Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Cabinet received the Saudi Crown prince and his high-powered delegation at Nur Khan Airbase. The prime minister himself drove him to the PM house, where he was received a guard of honour.

Not only that, Riyadh and Islamabad signed agreements worth $20 billion were signed during the visit of Mohammed bin Salman to Pakistan.
