BRUSSELS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th February, 2019) European Council President Donald Tusk will travel to Ukraine next week for a three-day visit and a meeting with President Petro Poroshenko.
Tusk is scheduled to have talks with Poroshenko followed by a leaders' only dinner after arriving in Kiev next Monday, February 18, his press office said.
On Tuesday, he will attend a ceremony commemorating people killed during the 2014 riots in the Ukrainian capital's central Maidan square and address the national parliament.
He will also meet parliamentary chair Andrij Parubiy and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman. On Wednesday, Tusk will travel to the western Ukrainian city of Lviv to receive a honorary degree at a local university.
