NAB to probe graft charges against Chaudhrys

National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved inquiry into three cases of possessing assets beyond known sources of income against Chaudhry brothers

ISLAMABAD (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 14th February, 2019) National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has approved inquiry into three cases of possessing assets beyond known sources of income against Chaudhry brothers.The decision was taken in a meeting of the anti-graft agency's executive board held in Islamabad on Thursday.According to the declaration of the meeting, the Bureau's executive board approved inquiry into three cases of corruption against the Chaudhrys.

The anti-graft watchdog's executive board has also approved inquiries against former foreign minister Hina Rabbani Khar, NHA chairman Shahid Ashraf Tarrar, former evacuee trust board chairman Siddiqueul Farooq and former Bait-ul-Mal MD Abid Waheed Sheikh.The declaration further stated that approval has also been given to file reference for awarding illegal contracts of diplomatic shuttle service.On the other hand, combined investigation team has been entrusted with the task of inquiries.
