Disruptions in the energy markets as a result of US sanctions against Venezuela's oil company PDVSA are not likely because the markets are well-supplied, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Diplomacy Sandra Oudkirk said in a congressional hearing on Wednesday

WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 13th February, 2019) Disruptions in the energy markets as a result of US sanctions against Venezuela's oil company PDVSA are not likely because the markets are well-supplied, US Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Energy Diplomacy Sandra Oudkirk said in a congressional hearing on Wednesday.

"We believe disruptions are unlikely since oil markets are adequately supplied," Oudkirk told the US House of Representatives Foreign Affairs Committee.
