(Pakistan Point News – 3rd November, 2016) : The third death anniversary of legendary folk singer, Reshma is being observed all across the country today (thursday). Born in 1947 to a gypsy family in Bikaner village Loha in Rajasthan, Reshma was a renowned Punjabi folk singer who contributed gloriously in both Pakistani and Indian film industries. The singer has got fame after Lambi Judai and Akhian nu rehn day songs.The Nightingale of the desert achieved Sitara-i-Imtiaz for singing marvelous songs for Radio Pakistan and ptv. She died of throat cancer after remaining in coma for 30 days but her magical voice still compels people to go into a state of trance.
