Russian trucks and engines manufacturer Kamaz plans to create an unmanned dump truck for quarrying operations by 2021, the company said in its report published on Friday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th February, 2019) Russian trucks and engines manufacturer Kamaz plans to create an unmanned dump truck for quarrying operations by 2021, the company said in its report published on Friday.

"By 2021, the company intends to create an unmanned dump truck for quarrying operations. Serial production of unmanned electric buses Shuttle at the production facilities of PJSC Kamaz may begin in 2022," the report for the fourth quarter of 2018 reads.

Kamaz added that Shuttle was designed for movement on paved roads using data from digital maps, navigation systems and technical vision.
