Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 6th February, 2019) Pakistani sketch artist Sonia Nisa got her wish to meet Prime Minister Imran Khan fulfilled as she called on him at Bani Gala today.
Sonia, who made a unique portrait of Prime Minister Imran Khan through calligraphy, met him on Wednesday.
Sonia Nisa, who lives in Qatar presented the calligraphy sketch to the prime minister.
PM Imran received Sonia and her family at Bani Gala.
Special Assistant to PM Khan Naeemul Haque and other officials were also present on the occasion.
Calligraphy is a visual art of decorative handwriting with aesthetic value. It is an ancient art form practiced throughout history by numerous civilizations.
The portrait by Soia incorporated the National Anthem of Pakistan within Imran Khan’s face. She displayed the portrait at an Art Exhibition in Souq Waqif, Doha, Qatar.
The portrait had gone viral on social media, adding to the fame of the artist.
