WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th February, 2019) US President Donald Trump during his State of the Union address said great nations to not fight endless wars, an excerpt of his speech revealed.
"As a candidate for President, I pledged a new approach. Great nations do not fight endless wars," Trump is quoted as saying in the excerpt released by the White House ahead of the address on Tuesday.
Trump recently has announced the United States is bringing home troops from Syria and the administration is in talks with the Taliban to wind down involvement in Afghanistan.
