Sahiwal tragedy: Zeeshan’s family angry at Punjab Governor for cold visit

He did not even ask what happened to my son, what did he do, the old mother said.

Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 22nd January, 2019) The mother of Zeeshan, one of those killed in the Sahiwal encounter, said she is only aggrieved over her son being called a terrorist.

Speaking to urdu Point, she said Punjab Governor Chaudhry Sarwar came to our house.

“Instead of condoling, he only raised his hand to pray,” she said.

She said that the governor is offering us Rs 20, 30 million.

“We are offering him our house, put it in the dams fund if you like, but can this money bring back my son?

“The government makes claims about making Pakistan a welfare state (State of Madinah). Tell me if the rulers of the state of Madinah do such a thing?” she said.

Citing Hazrat Umar (RA), she said He used to inquire about people at their homes but our governor came to my house and left like a thief does.

He did not even ask what happened to my son, what did he do, the old mother said.

Zeeshan’s wife, while talking to Urdu Point, said those calling my husband a terrorist should reveal if there is any case registered against him.

“When Kulbhushan could be arrested alive, why was my husband killed,” she said.
