MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th January, 2019) Germany if afraid of a new round of the arms race, the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty must be preserved to prevent this, German Foreign Minister Heiko Maas said Friday.
"I can't imagine that someone in Europe would be interested in the start of a new round of building up armaments, medium-range nuclear missiles. The only way to prevent this is to preserve the INF Treaty," Maas said at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.
