DOHA (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th January, 2019) � Saudi Arabia is planning major investments in the petrochemical sector in Russia, Saudi Energy Minister Khalid Falih said in an interview with Saudi-based Al Ekhbariya satellite television aired on Thursday.
"We have discussed with the head of the Russian Direct Investment Fund the plans to expand the variety of investment projects and to make very large investments not only in the gas industry, but also in the petrochemical sector in Russia, where there are prospects for a promising future," Falih said.
The minister noted that Saudi Arabia was planning to invest billions of Dollars in the Russian economy, while Russia will make similar investments in the Saudi economy.
