WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 16th January, 2019) The United States is hopeful that Russia will explain at the Russia-NATO Council how it will return to compliance with the Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty, US Under Secretary for Arms Control and International Security Andrea Thompson told reporters on Wednesday.
"It [Russia-NATO Council] is another opportunity to engage," Thomson said after the US-Russian consultations on the INF Treaty in Geneva. "I Hope Russia uses this opportunity to talk about how they are going to get back to compliance."
