MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th January, 2019) Russia is ready to do everything in order to make cooperation with Zimbabwe beneficial for both nations, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Tuesday during his meeting with Zimbabwean President Emmerson Mnangagwa."We are ready to do everything that depends on us in order to make cooperation between our countries, nations mutually beneficial so that this will be a significant contribution to the plans and programs you have formulated for yourself and fulfillment of objectives you have set for your country," Putin said.
Putin also called Zimbabwe an important African partner for Russia.
Mnangagwa pointed out his wish to discuss bilateral economic cooperation during talks with the Russian leader.
According to the Kremlin, Putin and Mnangagwa will discuss the Russian-Zimbabwean relations as well as pressing regional and international issues.
