The Ukrainian Supreme Court has scheduled hearing on the appeal filed by the defense of RIA Novosti Ukraine web portal chief Kirill Vyshinsky on his arrest for January 23, Vyshinsky's attorney said Tuesday
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 15th January, 2019) The Ukrainian Supreme Court has scheduled hearing on the appeal filed by the defense of RIA Novosti Ukraine web portal chief Kirill Vyshinsky on his arrest for January 23, Vyshinsky's attorney said Tuesday.
"On January 23, at 4 p.m. [local time, 14:00 GMT], the Supreme Court of Ukraine will hear the appeal. The Court of Criminal Cassation [part of Supreme Court] will hear the defense's appeal on illegal arrest of Kirill Vyshinsky," Andriy Domansky said.
After the hearing in the Supreme Court of Ukraine, the defense will have the right to appeal to the European Court of Human Rights, the attorney added.
