MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) French President Emmanuel Macron will host 100-150 leaders of French and foreign businesses on January 21, ahead of Davos World Economic Forum in Switzerland, French media reported Friday.
The gathering, a follow-up from a similar event last year, will take place in Versailles, Challenges outlet reported.
At the same time, Macron will not attend the forum in Switzerland over a busy agenda, Reuters news agency reported earlier in the day, citing Elysee palace.
US President Donald Trump has said he would not go to the forum because of the government shutdown in the United States. Russian President Vladimir Putin has not made the decision on attending yet, the Kremlin said earlier this week.
The forum in Davos will be held on January 22-25.
