MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th January, 2019) Moscow is concerned about the growing number of ceasefire violations in Syria's Idlib, more than 1,000 such cases have been registered since September 2018, Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova said at a briefing Friday.

"The growing number of violations of the cessation of hostilities [in the de-escalation zone in Idlib] causes concern. Since September 2018, over 1,000 such cases have been registered. It is important to prevent the disruption of the cessation of hostilities and ensure the complete withdrawal of radical units and heavy weaponry from the demilitarized zone," Zakharova said at a briefing.
