MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th January, 2019) UK Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn on Thursday urged for a general election to be held as soon as possible if Prime Minister Theresa May fails to pass her Brexit deal through the House of Commons.
"If the government cannot pass its most important legislation then there must be a general election at the earliest opportunity," Corbyn said.
UK Parliament is set to vote on the deal on Tuesday.
