Russian Sport Agencies, WADA Agree on Future Work Format - Kremlin Spokesman

Russian sport agencies and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) have reached an understanding on how to work together in the future, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th January, 2019) Russian sport agencies and the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) have reached an understanding on how to work together in the future, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Wednesday.

"As far as we know, our sport agencies have intensive contacts and an understanding on how to work [together] in the future has been reached with WADA representatives," Peskov told reporters.

The spokesman added that the data from Russia was prepared for transfer to WADA.

"The information, as such, was prepared for transfer the last time. There actually was some disagreement linked to what data storage format this should be transferred on and so on. I would say, these were logistics issues rather than matters of substance, considering that relevant steps are being taken," Peskov said.
