Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 6th January, 2018) The fifth death anniversary of martyred Aitzaz Hassan, who sacrificed his life while preventing a suicide bomber from entering his school at Ibrahimzai Village of Hangu in 2014, is being observed today.
Aitzaz was standing outside his school when he saw a suspicious person, wearing suicide jackets and explosives, close in on the educational facility.
The 15-year old boy without caring for his life took hold of the terrorist and managed to divert the suicide bomber away from the school.
The explosives went off in the scuffle, killing the terrorist and Aitzaz.
He was rewarded with Tamgha-e-Jurat for his courage and valour.
The nation is remembering the brave soul on his fifth anniversary.
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry while remembering Aitzaz said, “Today is the Death Anniversary of Shaheed #AitzazHassan young boy sacrificed his life but saved 100s of students by preventing a suicide attack on a Hangu School, tonight ptv ll telecast a Film #Salute by Shahzad Rafique on this young boy, #ShaheedoonkoSalam”
Meanwhile, other people are also paying tribute to the martyred.
