MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th January, 2019) An explosion rocked the street in front of an office of the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party in the city of Doebeln in Germany's eastern state of Saxony, local media reported on Friday.The police cordoned off the territory after the blast went off on Thursday, Bild newspaper reported.
No people have been injured in the explosion, but there has been some damage to property.
The police reportedly said there was a suspicion of a politically-motivated attack, but refused to name any suspects.
According to the press release of the regional authorities, three German nationals � aged 29, 32 and 50 � have been detained.
"The further investigation is led by officials of the police defense center on terrorism and extremism of the regional Criminal Investigation Office," the press release said.
The statement remarked on the recent increase in the number of politically motivated attacks on AfD offices in Saxony, adding that no people had been hurt so far.
