MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 04th January, 2019) Ukraine will spend around 2.4 billion hryvnias ($85 million) in budget funds on the presidential voting in March, the central election commission said Thursday.
The spending was agreed at the commission's meeting, according to the Unian news agency. Out of this sum, 266 million hryvnias will be spent on the central commission and the rest on local offices.
The presidential race kicked off on Monday, three months before Ukrainians go to the polls on March 31. The Commission also plans to spend 1.9 billion hryvnias on the parliamentary voting in fall.
