Says 2019 is the beginning of Pakistan's golden era
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 1st January, 2019) Prime Minister Imran Khan has sent his greetings on New Year and has given his New Year resolution.
In a tweet on Tuesday, the prime minister vowed to wage Jihad against four ills of the country. These include poverty, illiteracy, injustice and corruption.
Moreover, the prime minister termed 2019 as the beginning of Pakistan's golden era.
“Our New Year resolution is to wage jihad against the 4 ills of our country: poverty, illiteracy, injustice and corruption. InshaAllah 2019 is the beginning of Pakistan's golden era,” he wrote.
Revelers welcomed 2019 on Tuesday with fireworks displays and festivities as a celebratory wave swept westward across the globe from Asia to Europe and the Americas, putting to bed a tumultuous 2018.
