Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that inflation in the country will exceed the initially set target of 4 percent this year and will be higher by 0.1-0.2 percentage points.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th December, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Thursday that inflation in the country will exceed the initially set target of 4 percent this year and will be higher by 0.1-0.2 percentage points.
"Inflation remains at a level acceptable for us, however, over the past week it has slightly increased by 0.5 percent and that is why we will exceed the [Russian] Central Bank's target of 4 percent and [the inflation] will be 4.1-4.2 percent," Putin stated at his annual press conference.
