Asked whether Moscow will be ready to cooperate with Petro Poroshenko in the event of his re-election as president, Karasin said: "We will not guess. Let's wait for the completion of the presidential election campaign in Ukraine and find out the name of its winner."
"It's important for us that the elected politician be ready for a constructive dialogue with Russia and fulfill the obligations he undertook.. In any case, Russia will respect the choice of the Ukrainian electorate if it is free and democratic," he said.
