MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 19th December, 2018) US Special Representative for North Korea Stephen Biegun begins a four-day visit to Seoul on Wednesday to improve coordination on the Korean denuclearization.
The diplomat will meet his South Korean counterpart in charge of Korean Peninsula peace and security affairs, Lee Do-hoon, and other officials.
Together they will co-chair a working group meeting to discuss joint efforts to rid the peninsula of nuclear weapons, including through inter-Korean cooperation projects.
US President Donald Trump has been considering a second summit with North's leader Kim Jong Un to speed up the stalling denuclearization. Trump's national security adviser John Bolton said it could take place in January or February.
