Russia, Italy Agree to Jointly Implement Projects in Third Countries - Trade Minister

Russia and Italy agreed to unite competences in a number of areas to work in the markets of third countries, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 18th December, 2018) Russia and Italy agreed to unite competences in a number of areas to work in the markets of third countries, Russian Industry and Trade Minister Denis Manturov said Tuesday.

The minister has finished a visit to Italy, where he met with Prime Minister Giuseppe Conte and participated in the 16th session of the Russian-Italian Council for Economic, Industrial, Monetary and Financial Cooperation.

"We have agreed in principle to work in the markets of third countries, taking into account the possibility to unite infrastructural, financial and industrial competencies. We believe, based on our experience with other countries, that it's better, as they say, to earn money with a clever man than to lose them with a fool," Manturov said.

The minister also said that the Italian authorities, first of all in the person of Conte, wanted sanctions against Russia to be lifted as soon as possible.
