MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th December, 2018) The Russian Navy will receive new naval fighters and aerial picket aircraft by 2030 as part of the modernization of the country's navy's aircraft, Maj. Gen. Igor Kozhin, the chief of Russia's naval aviation, said.
"On the second stage [of the Russian Navy's aircraft modernization(2021-2030)] ... the naval aviation should receive aerial picket aircraft, naval drones, a perspective aviation complex of sea-based aviation," Kozhin said in an interview with the Russian military's official newspaper Krasnaya Zvezda.
