The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced its nominees for the best Drama and the Best Comedy or Musical film for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Thursday.
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 06th December, 2018) The Hollywood Foreign Press Association (HFPA) announced its nominees for the best Drama and the Best Comedy or Musical film for the 2019 Golden Globe Awards on Thursday.The nominees for Drama films include, "A Star is Born," "BlackkKlansman," "Black Panther," "Bohemian Rhapsody," and "If Beale Street Could Talk."
The nominees for Comedy or Musical films include, "Crazy Rich Asians," "Mary Poppins Returns," "Vice, Green Book and The Favourite.
The 2018 winner for Drama was "Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri" and the winner for Best Motion Picture Musical or Comedy went to "Lady Bird."
The 76th annual Golden Globe Awards ceremony will take place in Los Angeles on January 6.
Nominees are put forward in 25 award categories, with the winners selected by HPFA members, who are drawn from over 40 countries around the world.
