SHARJAH, (Pakistan Point News - 04th Dec, 2018) H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, received on Tuesday, Dr. Magdi Yacoub, Egyptian-British cardiothoracic surgeon, at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre, Dara.
The Ruler of Sharjah welcomed and exchanged greetings with Dr. Magdi Yacoub. They also engaged in discussions on a number of topics in the sciences.
H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed praised Dr. Yacoub's efforts in conveying his experiences locally and internationally, and making scientific and humanitarian contributions at his cardiothoracic surgery centre in Aswan, Egypt.
For his part, Dr. Yacoub expressed his appreciation to His Highness, the Ruler of Sharjah, for providing such an opportunity to meet. He also praised the role of His Highness in supporting the sciences, as well as his contributions towards humanitarian aid initiatives.
