WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st December, 2018) US President Donald Trump will hold an official meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel at the G-20 summit in Buenos Aires on Saturday, the White House pool report said.
"Sanders announces that POTUS [president of the United States] meeting with Chancellor Merkel of Germany has been rescheduled for tomorrow at 1:25 p.m. local time [16:25 GMT]," the pool report said on Friday.
Merkel missed the G20 summit opening after her plane made an emergency landing at the Cologne-Bonn airport due to what the authorities said was a serious malfunction.
The German chancellor also had to cancel a meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping and President of Argentina Mauricio Macri.
Merkel is still planning to hold a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin, according to US media.
The G20 summit kicked off in Buenos Aires on Friday and will end on Saturday.
