Cars will be completely manufactured and assembled in Pakistan.
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 30th November, 2018) Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that Pakistan will have its own car-manufacturing plant after which, cars will be manufactured in Pakistan.
Addressing the JW Forland Plant’s inauguration ceremony, the prime minister said that China is investing $900 million in Pakistan. He said that the investment will provide employment to the youth.
He said that a car manufacturing plant is being installed in Pakistan for the first time. He welcomed the local investors along with the Chinese investment.
He said that we will export cars from Pakistan, adding that the joint venture will produce 45,000 jobs.
The prime minister said that skilled labour will attract investment.
He said that the more we develop a healthy environment for investment, the more money will be landed in Pakistan.
He said that the country’s biggest issue is the current account deficit. The prime minister said that when the deficit increases, it creates short term problems.
PM Imran further said that his government had demanded technology from China instead of debts.
