The flight of the Soyuz MS-11 piloted spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 3 is set to last for six hours, Russia's Central Research Institute of Machine Building (TsNIIMash), part of the Roscosmos state corporation, said in a statement on Monday.
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 26th November, 2018) The flight of the Soyuz MS-11 piloted spacecraft to the International Space Station (ISS) on December 3 is set to last for six hours, Russia's Central Research Institute of Machine Building (TsNIIMash), part of the Roscosmos state corporation, said in a statement on Monday."The launch of the Soyuz MS-11 manned transport spacecraft is set for December 3, 14:31 Moscow Time [11:31 GMT]. The docking is slated for December 3, 20:36 Moscow Time," the statement read.
During this flight, Russian cosmonaut Oleg Kononenko, Canadian astronaut David Saint-Jacques and US astronaut Anne McClain will fly to the ISS.
In October, an accident occurred minutes after the liftoff of a Soyuz-FG launch vehicle carrying the Soyuz MS-10 spacecraft with two new members of the ISS crew on board. An emergency escape capsule allowed the crew to return to Earth safely.
