Government has issued a circular to various government departments, asking them to ensure payments to Christians before December 25.
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 19th November, 2018) The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government has announced to give more public holidays on important religious occasions.
According to details, the PTI government has decided to give special holidays on all religious occasions, including those of the minorities.
The citizens belonging to Hindu, Sikh and Christian communities will also be granted special holidays on their religious festivals. The decision has been taken so that the people belonging to various religions can fully observe their religious obligations.
The PTI government has started taking special steps to implement the decision.
Sources said that the incumbent government has issued a circular to various government departments, asking them to ensure payments to Christians before December 25.
The circular noted that no negligence will be tolerated in this regard.
