Subbotin met earlier in the day with Google's Director of Public Policy & Government Relations for Europe, middle East & Africa Emerging Markets region Doron Avni. The sides discussed a wide range of issues on the implementation�of the provisions of Russian legislation by Google.
"They [Google] expressed the desire to comply with the Russian legislation," told Sputnik.
Commenting on the possibility of the company joining Russia's unified register of prohibited information, Subbotin noted that "certain technical nuances" were touched upon by Google at the meeting.
